This is
a documentary about making percussive music with nothing but the human voice.
The human beat box is one of the key elements in the development of Hip Hop culture,
alongside DJ-ing, Graffiti, Breakdancing, and MC-ing. Unfortunately, its contribution
has been largely overlooked, as has the expressive and spontaneous dimension of
Hip Hop that it represents.
With interviews by Doug E Fresh, The Fatboys, Rahzel of
The Roots, and Zap Mama, Breath Control brings this important ingredient
of Hip Hop's identity into a larger universal perspective.
"This is real Hip Hop: no turntables, no band, no type of mechanical devices.
Just the mic in my hand."
- Rahzel, the Godfather of Noyze

for festival, television, and even limited run venues appears excellent, as pic
